Ceramic properties can be adjusted for specific applications. Here a rigid board is produced by vacuum forming alumina fibers with specific binders to provide enhanced thermal resistance. The board is then custom machined into parts for use in high temperature (1500°C) equipment where polysilicon crystals are grown for solar panels.

These glazed and unglazed compression molded parts utilize electrical porcelain as the material of construction because of its desirable electrical insulation and heat resistant properties. Highly arc and track resistant, ceramic parts are dimensionally stable at elevated temperatures and will not char or burn.
